THE MUSIC IN ME
An Art Auction to raise funds for the Summersong Youth Scholarships

Summersong '09 camper David Humphreys was inspired to create an artwork for us to use to raise money for Summersong Youth Scholarships. 

Please email your bids via the MESSAGE BOARD.  Not sure of total process here as yet, but depending upon what happens with this prior to camp, we may conclude auction at Summersong.

Title:       THE MUSIC IN ME by artist David Humphreys

Medium:  Glazed ceramic tiles and mirror on plywood.  (Not suitable for outside hanging)
approx 1m high

 Artist Statement:  For me the most evocative musical symbol is the treble clef.  It sets the tone for the musical piece and possesses beautiful flowing lines and curves.  Since I have refound singing I have gained a new appreciation of the music in my life and “the music in me”.
